Description
The Sugar Land Town Square is a development that is the new Central Business District for the City of Sugar Land. Aside from City Hall, Minute Maid moved their headquarters to the Sugar Land Town Square. This development has brought an urban feel to the suburbs. Within easy walking distance are a nice selection of shops and restaurants, as well as some loft apartments.
The Sugar Land Town Square covers 32 acres and is owned by Sugar Land Properties. One of my favorite places in Sugar Land Town Square is the Flying Saucer, known for its plentiful choices of beers from around the world.
The Sugar Land Town Square also has a Marriott hotel which makes it a perfect location for conferences. After the conference, the members can then walk to any number of places nearby and no one needs to drive.
The complex has 200,000 square feet of retail space, 750,000 square feet of Class A office space, the Sugar Land City Hall, The Sugar Land Marriott and Conference Center, restaurants and condominiums.
The City of Sugar Land regularly hosts outdoor events for the community such as Movies, Concerts and other family activities making it the center of activity for families in the area.
