Artist's Description

This is a picture of some of the Stone Ruins at Beit She'an, Israel. This was built during the Roman Empire and all of this Marble was imported from Italy during those days. Imagine, if you will, cutting these stones by hand in Italy and then loading them on a sailing ship to Israel. Once there, dragging them through a mountain range by horse in order to erect a city at Beit She'An. It is absolutely phenomenal how much work went into building these Roman cities.

About David Morefield

David Morefield

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
