Psychedelic Rose Spiral Notebook

I took this picture in my rose garden and instead of some boring photograph, I wanted to highlight the petals of the rose and make it jump of of the canvas. Spring time is here and it is great to see blooms warming themselves in the sun. Behind the beauty is a stem full of thorns; this is one of the reasons that I think so many associate roses with love. When you love someone, their will be thorns along the way, but the beauty of the love that is shared far outweighs the couple of thorns leading to the bloom.

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
