Inside the Lincoln Memorial Acrylic Print

The Lincoln Memorial is located on the Washington Mall in Washington DC and is probably one of the National Capital�s most recognizable landmarks. The memorial honors the life of President Abraham Lincoln for his accomplishments while in office. Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president and his presidency was abruptly ended when he was assassinated while watching a show at Ford�s Theater. The public outcry after Abraham Lincoln�s death led to the building of the Lincoln Memorial. Many famous speeches have been delivered form the step of the Lincoln Memorial, including Dr. Martin Luther King�s �I have a Dream� speech. This memorial is run by the National Park Service and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Place since 1966.

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
