Being that I am a native Houstonian, I love to share the beauty of my city with people who are visiting. Sometimes, in order to get a fresh perspective on the city, you must climb to the highest point and take in the scenery.
I was blessed with a cool night with very little wind and found this spot to shoot the city. Just to the left, you can see the Houston House apartments which has been a fixture of downtown since they were built in 1966. Houston House Apartments offers beautiful views of downtown and an easy commute for their residents. To the right, you can see the Toyota Center which is the premier venue for concerts as well as the Houston Rockets.
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
