David - what an awesome night capture of the Fred Hartman Bridge. Stunning! Great job on capturing the reflections. L.

Artist's Description

The Fred Hartman Bridge spans the Houston Ship channel between Baytown and La Porte on Highway 146. Named for Fred Hartman, the publisher and editor of the Baytown Sun from 1950 to 1974, the bridge is the longest cable-stayed bridge in Texas. This bridge replaced the Baytown Tunnel which was removed to make way for larger ships to be able to enter into the Houston Ship Channel.

About David Morefield

David Morefield

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
