Butterfly Round Beach Towel

Today, I had the opportunity to shoot at the Houston Museum of Natural Science Cockrell Butterfly Center. This was my first time to visit their exhibit and I have to say that I was impressed with the variety of species of butterflies. There were so many butterflies that they were gliding just past my head and although I was not able to get a good shot, it was one of the most peaceful exhibits that I have experienced at a museum. It is very relaxing to watch the butterflies as they buzz around and pollinate the many blooms inside of the exhibit. There were so many different colors that I ended up putting down my camera for a while so that I could focus on the experience.

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
