Braunfels Castle Poster

Built almost 800 years ago, Braunfels Castle has been the house of Solms-Braunfels in the town of Wetzlar, Germany. Starting in the Knight�s Hall, there is a collection of armor from German and Spanish occupants of the castle over time. Some of the swords and armor is from the Middle Ages. The oldest of the swords is from around 1300 AD.
Continuing through the rest of the castle you are treated to amazing 700 year old tapestries, furnishings from the Baroque and Victorian periods as well as paintings from like none that you will see anywhere else. The castle is still occupied by the noble family that has passed it down from generation to generation.

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
