Artist's Description

The Williams Tower is the hallmark of the Galleria Area of Houston, Texas. Rising above the city, Williams Tower boasts a revolving beacon that grasps the attention of anyone who is looking across the city. Williams Tower, formerly known as the Transco Tower, was built in 1981 and completed in 1982. Designed by New York based John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson and Morris Architects of Houston. Today, Williams Tower is the home of the Williams Companies, Quanta Services, the Rowan Companies and the headquarters for the Hines companies. Williams Tower is 64 stories tall making it the fourth tallest building in the State of Texas. When construction was complete in 1982, Williams Tower was the tallest skyscraper outside of a citys central business district.

About David Morefield

David Morefield

By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
