Tree of Souls Duvet Cover

While in Bejuco, Costa Rica I found this tree that instantly reminded me of the “Tree of Souls” from the movie from Avatar. There is no telling how old this tree is. It is hard to give the proper perspective to how large this tree really is, but just keep in mind that it is at least eighty to ninety feet tall and is just massive.
There are countless vines flowing down from this tree and it makes me wonder if this tree is not the reason for the name of Bejuco. Bejuco means “Climbing woody vine” and it is very clear that this large tree has many vines. It is also the only tree in the area that I was able to find that had such large climbing vines.

In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
