Tractor Millipede Coffee Mug

While hiking in the Costa Rican rainforest, I happened up on this Tractor Millipede crawling on a tree trunk. These millipedes are necessary in a the rainforest to help breakdown decaying leaves and plants.
While centipedes can give you a nasty bite, the millipede is basically harmless. Think of them as some of the insects that help keep the rainforest beautiful.

In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
