Artist's Description
The interior of the Cole Theater in Historic Downtown Rosenberg, Texas. The owner of the theater who also owns Another Time Soda Fountain gave us a tour and told us of the many ghostly stories of the theater. Originally built in 1919, the Cole Theater was a venue for many kinds of performances and public meetings throughout the years. It still has a second stairwell and separate entrance that was used during segregation.
The theater is one of main landmarks in the Historic Downtown Rosenberg District. Ms. Butler is in the process of renovating the theater to its original Art Deco beauty and opening it for the community to share.
I cant wait until she is finished with her project.
About David Morefield
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
