Description
This is the last remaining place that Jews can go to pray at what is left of the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount was destroyed and later, claimed as a holy site for Islam. Currently, the dome of the Rock sits over where Soloman's Temple was built. Without a place to make a sacrifice for their sins, the Jews have been cut off from God. People from around the world come to this wall to say prayers and leave written prayers in the cracks of the wall. It is common to see the Orthodox Jews coming late in the evening to pray so that they can avoid "unclean" people as they make their way to the Western Wall to pray.
