Description
The New York Public Library, located at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street, which opened in 1911 houses the large collection of books that had been donated by the Carnegie donation as well as the Tilden bequest.
Many people recognize this library for it�s appearances in movies such as Ghostbusters. In the first Ghostbuster�s movie, a ghost was spotted by a librarian in the basement of the library and where they collected one of their first samples of slime.
