Built in 1887, the Fort Worth Stockyards became a booming Livestock exchange due to the railroad intersecting the Chisholm Trail. At one time, Fort Worth was just a resupply supply point along the Chisholm Trail. The sounds of boots and spurs walking down the streets hasn't faded in over 150 years. But when the railroad extended to Fort Worth, it became known as "The Wall Street of the West." This booming cowtown brought an enormous economic boom to Texas and secured Fort Worth's name on the map.
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
