In John chapter 8, Jesus said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
I took the opportunity to take this picture while visiting Mission Concepcion. I believe the verse above is fitting for this picture.
Founded in 1716, Mission Concepcion located in San Antonio, TX was one of the six missions that was authorized by the government to serve as a buffer against French incursion into Spanish territory.
After 20 years of construction, Mission Concepcion was dedicated in 1755 and is int he most original shape of all of the six missions that were built due to the fact that it was built on bedrock. Maintaining its original roof. The mission has many original frescos and is one of the best specimens of Spanish Fresco and style from the 1700s.
Today, the mission is maintained by the National Park Service and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
