This is a shot of the instrument panel from a Bell UH-1 Iroquois. Known as the Huey, this helicopter made a name for itself in Vietnam earning a reputation for being one tough bird. These helicopters saw penny of abuse while in military service and they just kept flying. Known for their distinctive Whomp,Whomp,Whomp sound as the blade cut through the air, Hueys were used to deliver troops into otherwise unreachable areas. Of course, they were also used to come in and load the wounded in order to get them back to a hospital.
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
