One of my favorite things to do is walk around at night in Houston and take photos of my city. I am a Houston native and I think that the beauty of Houston really comes to life after dark.
Just past the Wortham Center, you can see the Bank of America Center with its staircase-like architecture. One of the first example os postmodern architecture in Downtown Houston, the building is reminiscent of the Dutch Gothic architecture of canal houses in The Netherlands. With three segmented tower setbacks, each has a steeply pitched gabled roofline that is topped with spires. The building stands 56 stories tall, making it the seventh tallest building in Texas; definitely one of my favorite buildings in the Houston skyline.
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
