The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, also known as the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre and Church of the Resurrection, is a church located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. This site is lauded to be the location of Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified. It is also said to be where Jesus was buried and resurrected.
